‍The Role

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be at the heart of our platform, building and optimizing the data pipelines that power our advanced AI models. You will be responsible for designing, constructing, and managing the robust data infrastructure that handles large-scale, complex enterprise data. Your work will directly enable our Machine Learning and LLM teams to access clean, reliable, and scalable data, ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of the entire Infinure platform.

What you will do:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure ETL/ELT data pipelines from diverse enterprise sources.
• Optimize data warehousing and data lake solutions to support high-performance data access for our AI models.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to define data requirements and ensure data quality.
• Implement data governance and security best practices to maintain enterprise-grade compliance.
• Develop and manage our API-first data ingestion framework, facilitating seamless client integrations.
• Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to the overall data strategy.

Who you are:

• 5+ years of experience in a data engineering role, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise technology environment.
• Expertise in cloud data technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Flink).
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and distributed systems.
• Experience with API development and building robust, scalable data ingestion systems.
• A passion for working with cutting-edge AI technologies and a clear understanding of the data foundation required for their success.
